Cathay Pacific introduces day time service to London Cathay Pacific Airways is pleased to announce the introduction of an additional same-day-arrival service from Hong Kong to London, starting on 2nd July 2002.
The non-stop daytime flight will further strengthen Cathays ability to offer passengers even more convenient network connections, more choices of departure times, and sharpen their edge in what is one of the most competitive long-haul markets.
This new service means that travellers can now leave the UK on a Sunday afternoon, instead of Saturday evening, and arrive into Hong Kong first thing on a Monday morning.
It also gives travellers greater choice of connections to some of Cathays key destinations in Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo.
The service is scheduled to operate mainly with a long-haul airbus A340-300 as follows: Flight CX253 Hong Kong-London Heathrow Depart 15.05 hours Arrive 21.05 hours on Tues/Wed/Sat and Sun
Flight CX252 London Heathrow-Hong Kong Depart 13.05 hours Arrive 08.00 hours next day on Tues/Wed/Sat and Sun
