Euro 2004
After the ecstasy and ultimate disappointment of England�s progress in what turned out to be a most entertaining World Cup 2002, attention now turns towards Euro 2004, to be held in Portugal. Teams progress through a qualifying campaign to the final stages of the competition, which will comprise of a group knock-out stage followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finally the final to be played in Lisbon.

England�s qualifying campaign began on Saturday 12th October with a trip to Bratislava, followed by a home tie against Macedonia on 16th October 2002.

England�s second away match of the qualifying campaign sees them play Leichtenstein, in its capital, Vaduz. This should be an easy fixture for England, but as the saying goes �it�s a funny ol� game�
