	Icelandair will begin year-round, non-stop services from Denver to Reykjavik in May 2012. Via Reykjavik this will give connections to what is known as the Mile High City four times per week from Gatwick, and from Glasgow and Manchester too. From Denver, eastbound, the Boeing 757 flights will offer one-stop services to more than 20 destinations in Europe including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Munich and Paris. Denver is the ninth North American city to be served by Icelandair.
	Luton-based easyJet has launched its summer 2012 schedule with a choice of more than 300 destinations. More than 110,000 flights are now on sale to destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. EasyJet's summer schedule runs from the 25th March through to the 2nd September 2012. For those who want to escape the London Olympics now is the time to choose the cheapest flight. Capacity has been added to popular leisure and business destinations including Barcelona, Alicante, Madrid and Rome.
	Air Canada is further streamlining its network economy baggage fees for tickets issued on or after the 11th October 2011. For travel between Canada and the United States a first bag fee of $25 CAD/USD will apply. For travel from Canada and the USA to Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Russia/Asia a second bag fee of $70 CAD/USD applies, to South America a second bag fee of $70 CAD/USD applies and a second bag fee of $20 CAD/USD for Caribbean itineraries will now also apply to Kingston, Haiti and Puerto Rico. Frequent flyer members travelling in Executive Class and Executive First will receive a 3 bag allowance on all flights and all other passengers will receive a 2 bag allowance.
	Etihad Airways has announced that from the 15th December they will offer a four times a week service to Chengdu and from the 1st March 2012 they will operate a five times a week service to Shanghai. Along with daily flights to Beijing, you can now experience more of China with Etihad Airways. Enjoy Chengdu, a city richly endowed with natural wonders and ancient temples including the Buddhist mountain of Emei and the Giant Panda Research and Breeding Centre or the sights, sounds and sheer vibrancy of Shanghai and its popular attractions such as The Bund and Yuyuan Garden. The Chinese experience begins onboard with Chinese cuisine, Mandarin entertainment and Mandarin-speaking crew.
	Commencing in May 2012 Finnair will launch it's Chongqing service with connections from Manchester and London via Helsinki. Chongqing, one of China's largest and fastest growing cities, is a dynamic industrial centre filled with exciting opportunities for both business and leisure travellers. The city is also one of southwest China's main transport hubs, with good connections to the rest of the country and South East Asia.

Traveleads' client Adrian Long from Carnaud Metalbox Engineering PLC, is joining a group of fellow bike riders to raise funds for Marie Curie by cycling 500 kilometres through India. On the 5-day journey Adrian will travel from Pushkar to Malpura, onto Jaipur and Laxamgarh, through Fatephur Sikri, finally arriving at the Taj Mahal.

Adrian will be covering the cost of flights, accommodation and meals so 100% of any donation will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
