Virgin Atlantic has announced a second daily service between London Heathrow and Johannesburg OR TAMBO Airport. The new service will begin flying in winter 2018 with the first flight departing on 28th October 2018. The new flights are now on sale and will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. With two flights per day to South Africa’s biggest city, Virgin will carry over 300,000 customers annually – helping to support tourism and trade between the two nations.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft features Virgin's latest cabin interiors, inflight entertainment and WiFi. The new Wander Wall for snacks and socializing, chauffer limo service, iconic bar and fully flat-bed seats are available for Upper Class customers. Prior to departure, select customers can work, relax, and dine in Virgin Atlantic's award-winning Clubhouse, and when arriving into London-Heathrow T3, Upper Class customers can refresh and refuel in Virgin Atlantic's Revivals Lounge.
