100 Streets …and still smiling!

by Traveleads | January 22, 2019 | CSR

When we last checked in with our team of charity volunteers in Edinburgh they had been rubbing shoulders with 80s heart-throb Jason Donovan, and were well on their way to completing the 100 Street Challenge in aid of ‘Support in MIND Scotland’.
This week we are catching up with team to find out if they have hung up their sensible walking shoes, and achieved their fund raising target.

Maggie Monteith (Head of Business Development – Scotland) told us. “We had a tremendous time getting out on the streets of Edinburgh and meeting so many supportive and generous people. We were reminded just how beautiful our city is, and how lucky we are to live in such an historic and vibrant part of the country. I would like to thank everyone at the Edinburgh office who selflessly gave of their time to take part, raising awareness and funds for such a worthwhile charity.  I am delighted to confirm that we exceeded our fundraising target, something that would have never happened without the kindness and generosity of so many wonderful people.
This has been one of my favourite fundraisers! While it was a pleasure to take part in the 100 Street Challenge we’re now all looking forward to putting our feet up with a nice cup of tea …and by tea I mean a large Gin & Tonic!’

The Traveleads 100 Street Challenge fundraising page is still taking donations – all of which go directly to the charity.  If you would like to support our teams efforts please click here.

To all those who took part and donated so generously we would like to say a huge heartfelt THANK-YOU.
