The Story So Far – Traveleads’ Charity Success 2018/19

by Traveleads | June 24, 2019 | CSR Latest News

It has given us great pleasure over the past year to have been in partnership with Support in Mind Scotland as the Edinburgh teams chosen charity of 2018/19. During the course of the year we held fundraising activities such as homemade jewellery sales, dress down days, cocktail making ‘after’ work, World Cup sweep, Last Man Standing football league competition and the very popular ‘100 Street Walk’ which took us up alleys and closes that even the local Edinburgh folk had never been before!

Along the way Lesley & Maggie Monteith from our team in Edinburgh office were lucky enough to have bumped into Jason Donovan – after some gentle persuasion, he agreed to a wee photo!

Our most successful activity was our Christmas raffle Bonanza which itself raised over £2000! The draw was held on 21st December and we had the pleasure of Jenny Hastings joining us at our offices to make the draws, a great fun time was had!

Throughout the course of the year the support from Colin, Iain and the extended team at Support in Mind Scotland has been immense and we are delighted to learn that our grand total of £3614.29 has gone towards the refurbishment of the café at the Stafford Centre on Broughton Street.
