Traveleads Charity Golf Outing in Aid of Children 1st

by Traveleads | November 26, 2018 | CSR

Traveleads held their charity golf outing in aid of Children 1st at Glencorse Golf Club on the outskirts of Edinburgh on Friday the 18th of September. The day was a huge success and we are pleased to announce that we raised a fantastic sum of money for our charity of the year. We would like to thank our clients, guests and suppliers who donated prizes, and to the golfers on the day who put their hands in their pockets to buy raffle tickets to raise money for such a fantastic cause.

Children 1st were formally known as the RSSPCC and were established in 1884, they are Scotland’s children’s charity putting Scotland’s Children 1st. They work to ensure every child and young person in Scotland has a happy, healthy, safe and secure childhood. They campaign for every child in Scotland to enjoy the best possible start in life and for no child to grow up in fear of abuse or violence.

Ashley Sharp from Children 1st explained, “Children 1st works to make children safe and put smiles on their faces. The donation raised will support up to three families who will receive one month of one-on-one support, or we can provide 10 therapeutic sessions to children who are recovering from abuse and trauma. Traveleads is a long time corporate partner of Children 1st, and we are grateful that the company continues to support Scotland’s national children’s charity.”
