Traveleads launches TravAssist – our new multi-function mobile app and duty of care solution

Excellent service standards and innovative technical solutions have long differentiated Traveleads from its competitors, and we are delighted to have recently added another component to our outstanding list of customer benefits – TravAssist.
TravAssist is a mobile app which can be downloaded for free onto IOS (Apple iPhones) and Android smartphones – simply search “Traveleads” in Apple App Store or Google Play.
Once your organisation has confirmed its wish to utilise the app, all of your travel bookings will be automatically sent to the app and will appear in your “My Trips” section – keeping all of your travel plans handy in one place. You will also still receive an email confirmation, plus links to add data to your Outlook calendar and be able to share information with family and colleagues.
The app has a host of functionality, including links to online check-in, destination mapping and information, weather and traffic alerts – plus a currency converter. Importantly for air travellers, we subscribe to flight monitoring services and any recognised flight delays or cancelations will cause an alert to be sent as a push notification to your smartphone – giving you advance notice of possible inconvenience so that you can contact Traveleads if you need assistance.
With regard to the nowadays critical provision of duty of care by employers, the app provides an ability to communicate with travellers in the event of an emergency, and we are able to offer our clients two excellent bolt-on solutions for those organisations with a pro-active need to monitor traveller whereabouts and maintain a level of vigilance over them. The first is a Travel Manager Portal, enabling an employer to log into an online portal 24/7/365 and establish the whereabouts of all travellers, and search by country, city, airline, flight number etc.
The Travel Manager Portal enables individual or group communication via push, SMS or email notification – so you have clear routines for establishing links to your people in the field should you need to. You can search ahead up to 14 days, as well as seeing an “at a glance” world map view of where your people are.
The Travel Manager Portal can be supplemented by the addition of the iJet security reporting service, whereby each individual itinerary which Traveleads creates for your organisation is automatically relayed to iJet, who then send you a security and risk assessment for the country(ies) being visited, and who will then maintain a watch on the status of any alerts throughout the duration of any trip, keeping you up to speed with any changes in risk exposure.
