Traveleads’ Snowdon Charity Climb Success for Reuben’s Retreat!

by Traveleads | August 29, 2019 | CSR Latest News

On the 23rd of August, two of our Traveleads stars, Jan Telford and Heidi Campbell rose to the challenge of trekking to the summit of Snowdon for charity.

Their climb began at 2am, with only torches to light the way. After climbing an ascent measuring 945 meters and a walking distance of 9 miles, they reached the summit around 5:45am to admire the sunrise.

Here at Traveleads, we would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who supported them with sponsorship.  So far we have raised £626.25 which will all go to Reubens Retreat.

The donation page is still live so if you would like to donate, please use this link: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/JanTelford

Any amount small or large will be very much appreciated.

Thank you all in advance!

About Reuben’s Retreat

Reuben’s Retreat is a charity which was born in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who tragically passed away aged 23 months.

The primary goal of Reuben’s Retreat is to create a sanctuary that will be a home-from-home for families coping with the serious illness of a child, providing respite breaks and the chance to build happy memories.

All donations will raise vital funds to help this charity in their mission to relieve the distress of families who have suffered the bereavement of a child or have a child suffering from a life limiting/threatening illness.
