Luxurious new 1903 Lounge at T3 Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport have unveiled their new luxury 1903 Lounge at Terminal 3. The £1.6 million lounge, named after the year of the Wright Brothers first flight, can accommodate 71 passengers in premium surroundings.

The adult's only lounge is ideally suited to couples and solo travellers, offering guests all-inclusive food, snacks, drinks and unlimited free Wi-Fi. A complimentary Fast Track security pass is included to ensure you reach the Lounge as efficiently as possible.

Cathay Pacific Manchester 'Escape Lounge' access unavailable

Manchester Airport’s 'Escape Lounge' in Terminal 2 will be undergoing refurbishment between the 1st February and the 31st March 2016. During this time lounge access will not be available for passengers travelling on Cathay Pacific flights. In lieu of lounge access, eligible members and passengers will be offered a £15 cash voucher for use in a selection of restaurants and bars in Terminal 2 following security clearance, in addition to complimentary Wi-Fi service for the day of travel. Manchester Airport 'Escape Lounge' closed for refurbishment

Manchester Airport’s 'Escape Lounge' in Terminal 2 will be undergoing a refurbishment for the next 15 weeks, and is due to re-open in April 2016. During this time lounge access will not be available for passengers travelling on Virgin Atlantic flights, the airport team will provide customers with a voucher to use at a selection of restaurants and bars in the terminal. EasyJet announces more new summer routes from Manchester

EasyJet have announced two new routes for Summer 2016 from Manchester Airport, providing passengers with yet more choice for easy and affordable summer destinations. Two more aircraft will be based at Manchester as EasyJet continue to expand routes.

EasyJet will launch a new route to Tivat in Montenegro with twice weekly flights from the 27th March 2016, the only service to the destination by a UK airline outside of London. Tivat is the gateway to the Mediterranean port of Kotor, a UNESCO World heritage site and home to Porto Montenegro.

Emirates Celebrates 25 Years at Manchester Airport

This November Emirates celebrated 25 years of flying from Manchester Airport. During that quarter of a century Emirates have carried more than 8 million passengers to and from Dubai, with nearly half of that in the last five years. That has been driven by Emirates increasing the frequency of its flights to three a day, two of which are operated by its super-jumbo aircraft. It is the only airline to use an A380 at Manchester. Almost 800,000 people have travelled with Emirates through Manchester Airport in the last year alone.

EasyJet Launch New Flights from Manchester

EasyJet has launched three new routes from Manchester Airport next summer to Paris, Milan Malpensa and Olbia in Sardinia. EasyJet’s expansion at Manchester Airport for summer 2016 will provide greater access to these hugely popular destinations with nine flights a week to Paris, up to seven flights a week to Milan Malpensa and twice a week to Olbia. The additional services will give EasyJet 43 destinations from Manchester, where it will have a total of 11 aircraft.

Vueling’s New Direct Flight from Manchester Airport

Vueling, the Spanish low-cost airline, has announced new direct services from Manchester Airport to Alicante and Rome from June 2016. Vueling will operate three flights a week to Alicante and two flights a week to Rome operated on a 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. These additional services will provide Vueling passengers travelling from Manchester the opportunity to fly to more than 140 destinations across Europe connecting via the hubs in Barcelona and Rome Fiumicino.
