Gary McLeod

Managing Director - Corporate Division

Gary has worked in the travel industry for over 35 years across a variety of companies and in operational, sales and management roles, and now jointly works with Elaine to develop and guide the company’s activities in today’s fast-changing world. Gary has a focus on the implementation and development of systems and technology to ensure that Traveleads stays ahead of the game in terms of providing first-class customer service and traveller experience.

Elaine has over 30 years’ experience in the professional travel industry and has been a long-term figure in the senior management team at Traveleads, working in a variety of roles within the company – leading to her present responsibilities for the leadership and direction of company strategy. Elaine is one of the pioneers of the quality of service initiatives which dominate our client relationships and ensure long-term partnerships with so many of our customers.

Already having a strong travel background, Judi joined Traveleads in 2013 to strengthen the Board team in terms of financial and analytical support as the company’s activities continue to grow, and has great rapport with many of our clients who seek bespoke or customised solutions to meet their individual needs in terms of the data and reporting we supply.

Carol Newton

Supplier Relations Director

Carol has worked at Traveleads since leaving school – but we can’t tell you when that was, suffice to say it was more than 20 years ago! Joining as a trainee in the business travel division, Carol has had operational and management roles throughout her time at Traveleads and now is our “go-to” person in terms of daily operational matters, as well as having key responsibility for supplier liaison. Carol’s customer service standards are the highest you will find, and her goal is to always be looking for ways to improve the client experience.

Eric Edwards

Client Services Director – Sports & Groups

Eric has worked at Traveleads for over 20 years and across all of our divisions, in operational and management roles, and is now the key liaison contact for all of our many sports clients – working closely with them to ensure that their competition and training calendars are closely managed throughout the year. An absolute perfectionist in the fine detail of project planning, Eric wins great plaudits from many of our sports clients for the way he assists their project teams to plan and execute first class travel plans for often large numbers of people.

Jan Telford

Business Administration Manager

Jan has spent 38 years working in the travel industry. She spent the first twenty years working for various airlines.  It was whilst in an airline sales role that she got to know Traveleads, developing a strong relationship with us before joining the company in 2001.  Jan looks after the personnel side of the business, along with hotel supplier liaison, and Quality Manager. She also looks after the travel arrangements of some specific clients and carries out a host of other duties that keep the office running smoothly on a day to day basis.

Emma has worked in the travel industry for over 23 years in a variety of roles and joined the Traveleads family in 2004 as our Meeting and Events Coordinator before becoming our Business Travel Manager in 2016. Emma leads and motivates the team to deliver excellence in customer care, professionalism and technical standards at all times whilst retaining a team ethos and working in a mutually supportive manner.

I.T Manager

James has been at Traveleads since 2006, spending 10 years as a developer before moving into management. James has experience working with various technologies from multiple providers and maintains great relationships with suppliers in all sectors. Technology and Security are extremely important to Traveleads, and we look forward to James and his team protecting our customers and our business as the landscape of IT, with all the opportunities; threats; and innovations, continues to evolve.

Phil Whitney is a Prince2 Qualified Project Manager.  With over 15 years industry experience he now heads up our online and implementation team.  Phil prides himself on clear, well communicated processes – understanding the importance of engaging with clients to establish their requirements and deliver on all objectives.  Phil has led the successful implementation of over 200 clients including a number of leading UK charities, UK Government Departments, Infrastructure organisations, Professional Services and more recently a number of sporting institutions.
