Our very own Elizabeth, from our Leeds business travel team, is taking part in the MoonWalk, an overnight 26.2-mile charity walk through London on 10th May in aid of Walk the Walk, a breast cancer research fundraising charity.
We asked Elizabeth to tell us a little about her challenge:
"I am taking part in the full Moon, MoonWalk on 10th May. This is a 26.2 Mile walk through London at night. It is an extremely challenging prospect for me, but one to which I will give my all! Already through training, I have pushed myself to do things I never thought I could achieve. I am nervous about doing this, but my struggles are nothing in comparison to those battling cancer. We all know someone effected by this awful disease and I want to do my bit in raising money to help wherever possible."
If you'd like to show support for the charity, you would be very welcome to donate via Elizabeth's fundraising page http://wtwalk.org/moonwalklondon2014/elizabeth-54
- and we all wish her the very best of luck in a great cause!
