Flybe: New Winter Routes

Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline is stepping in to retain twice daily flights from Aberdeen to London City, starting on the 27th October 2014. The vital route which helps support the strength of the economy in the north of Scotland was recently withdrawn by British Airways, but given passenger demand Flybe has re-introduced the route providing frequent, convenient and affordable services.

Flybe has also announced another five new routes for its winter schedule:

Aberdeen to East Midlands: One daily service Monday- Friday from the 27th October 2014 - 28th March 2015.
Birmingham to Berlin Tegel: One daily service Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday from the 26th October 2014 - 28th March 2015.
Exeter to Newcastle: One daily service from the 26th October 2014 - 28th March 2015.
Cardiff to Geneva: Saturdays only from the 20th December 2014 - 11th April 2015.
Inverness to Geneva: Saturdays only from the 20th December 2014 - 11th April 2015.

	Well done to Austrian Airlines who have won the Best Airline Staff Service in Europe award, presented by Skytrax at the 2014 World Airlines Awards. The category represents both the performance of cabin crew and airport personnel. The independent customer survey operated online between August 2013 and May 2014 and was completed by 18.85 million air travellers.
	East Midlands Airport's new luxury lounge: Escape has been launched by Manchester Airports Group (MAG), the fourth of its kind. The Escape Lounge, open 04:00-20:00 daily, will provide passengers with complimentary food and drink, free wi-fi access and a range of newspapers and magazines. Other facilities will include a quiet area, comfortable seating, an eating area and window booths.
