Standing in prime position next to majestic Lake Windermere, Laura Ashley, the world's best-loved British design brand has launched its second luxury boutique hotel, Laura Ashley The Belsfield Lake District operated by the Corus Hotels group. Singapore Airlines New Premium Economy Class is now available to book for selected flights from Singapore to Sydney in August 2015. Singapore Airlines have invested $80 million in the new cabin class which will be introduced on 19 A380's, 19 777-300ER's and 20 A350's in late 2015 and early 2016 on flights to Beijing, Frankfurt, New York and other international destinations.

Premium Economy Class will welcome customers with a bespoke contemporary and stylish design, offering more space, comfort and convenience. The new full leather-finished seats have a width of 19.5 inches and offer an eight-inch recline for comfort. Complementing this is a sleek 13.3 inch full HD monitor, noise-cancelling headphones, in-seat power supply and two USB ports. From April 2015 customers can select from the Premium Economy Book the Cook service featuring popular dishes. Plus priority check-in, baggage handling and a 35kg baggage allowance Class ensure the seamless Premium Economy experience begins on the ground.
