What constitutes a crisis.
Unfortunately, when it comes to a crisis most happen without warning and call for immediate action to be taken. Industrial strikes are often announced in advance - so measures can be put in place to minimise the disruption - but sadly the majority of emergency situations happen unexpectedly. Terror attacks, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, civil war …these are all factors today’s business traveller faces. Then there are many none life-threatening issues that still bring chaos, including airport closures, weather, cancelled transportation services, and the recent drone activity that grounded aircraft and forced airports to temporarily close.
