About Reuben’s Retreat
Reuben’s Retreat is a charity which was born in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who tragically passed away aged 23 months.
The primary goal of Reuben’s Retreat is to create a sanctuary that will be a home-from-home for families coping with the serious illness of a child, providing respite breaks and the chance to build happy memories.
All donations will raise vital funds to help this charity in their mission to relieve the distress of families who have suffered the bereavement of a child or have a child suffering from a life limiting/threatening illness.
The Snowdon “Sunraise” Challenge
On April 27th 2019, in order to raise money for Reuben’s retreat our very own Jan Telford and Heidi Campbell will be rising to the challenge of trekking to the summit of Snowdon.
They will start to climb Snowdon at 2am, with only head torches to light the way, they hope to reach the summit for around 5.45am in order to see the sunrise before their descent back down in time for a well earned breakfast at 9am.
Jan comments “It will be a long and possibly cold or wet night, albeit very fulfilling I am sure, so we are hoping you might all be able to dig deep and sponsor us if you can!”
