Finnair has become the first European operator of the A350 XWB aircraft, benefitting the environment and the traveller. The long-range A350 XWB aircraft offers a significant reduction in fuel burn, lower maintenance costs and the most modern aerodynamic design to date. Passengers can enjoy a new level of comfort with an extra-wide cabin with more space in all classes, including 18 inch wide seats as standard in Economy. The aircraft has a premium three-class layout, with 46 seats in Business Class, 43 in Economy Comfort and 208 in Economy.

Cathay Pacific Hong Kong flights from Gatwick

Cathay Pacific will launch a new four-times-weekly service from London’s Gatwick Airport on the 2nd September 2016.

The new service will complement the airline’s current five-times-daily service to Heathrow Airport and create a total of 39 non-stop flights a week between Hong Kong and London, more than any other carrier.

The service from Gatwick’s South Terminal will be operated by a new state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 in a four class configuration, to help meet growing demand from both business and leisure travellers between the UK and Asia Pacific region.

KLM returns to Dublin after five decades away

Emirates' Heathrow to Dubai A380 upgrade
