Finnair has become the first European operator of the A350 XWB aircraft, benefitting the environment and the traveller. The long-range A350 XWB aircraft offers a significant reduction in fuel burn, lower maintenance costs and the most modern aerodynamic design to date. Passengers can enjoy a new level of comfort with an extra-wide cabin with more space in all classes, including 18 inch wide seats as standard in Economy. The aircraft has a premium three-class layout, with 46 seats in Business Class, 43 in Economy Comfort and 208 in Economy.

Qantas customers travelling from Brisbane now have a stylish new space to relax, work and dine before their overseas flight, with the Qantas Brisbane International Lounge. The lounge is based on the award winning Hong Kong and Singapore Lounge concept, with the food and interior design taking inspiration from the local region. American Airlines are offering fully flat-beds in Business and First Class on every flight departing from London Heathrow to the U.S.

Cathay Pacific will launch a new four-times-weekly service from London’s Gatwick Airport on the 2nd September 2016.

The new service will complement the airline’s current five-times-daily service to Heathrow Airport and create a total of 39 non-stop flights a week between Hong Kong and London, more than any other carrier.

The service from Gatwick’s South Terminal will be operated by a new state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 in a four class configuration, to help meet growing demand from both business and leisure travellers between the UK and Asia Pacific region.

From the 3rd September to the 29th October 2016, KLM will offer a second Saturday service from Inverness to Amsterdam which will bring passengers greater choice and even more connections to worldwide destinations such as Atlanta, Mexico City and Venice. Travellers can choose between Business and Economy, with extra legroom in Economy Comfort.
