Emirates A380 to Manchester
Emirates have announced an 11% capacity increase to Manchester with the deployment of a third daily A380 on the route. As of 1st January 2017, the replacement of the Boeing 777-300ER will mean that all Emirates flights to Manchester will be operated by the iconic double decker aircraft.
Thanks to the new aircraft deployment, Emirates will offer 2,198 additional weekly seats on the route, enabling further business and leisure travel between Dubai and Manchester.

Emirates have announced its service between Dubai and Dakar, currently operated by an Airbus A340-300, will be replaced with a Boeing 777-300ER from 2nd September 2016. The change to a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft increases passenger capacity on the route by 372 seats per week. The larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will offer customers an enhanced on-board experience, with Private Suites in First Class, flat-bed seats in Business Class and extra room and custom lighting in Economy Class, plus inflight Wi-Fi throughout the aircraft.

Reports of an Emirates flight from India crash-landing at Dubai International airport have just come in.
The Boeing 777 flight EK251 arriving into Dubai from Trivandrum airport (India) was said to be carrying almost 300 people.
Whilst pictures have been posted onine showing thick black smoke coming from the stricken plane, no details have been released confirming the nature of the incident.
The Dubai government media office posted the following on its Twitter newsfeed: All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far.

Emirates has unveiled plans to boost capacity to London with the addition of a tenth daily flight to the British capital starting 1st October 2016. The new service, Emirates fourth daily flight to London Gatwick, will complement its six daily services to Heathrow and take the airline's total weekly services to the city to 70.
