Finnair have announced they will increase capacity from the UK and Ireland to Helsinki for summer 2017 due to high demand on the route.

Edinburgh will be served by up to five weekly flights operated by a 138-seat Airbus A319 with Business and Economy Class, following the successful launch of the route in April 2016.

Capacity from Dublin will also increase to nine weekly flights from March 2017 operated by a mix of Airbus A319 and Embraer E190 aircraft with a schedule convenient for onward connections.

Emirates are celebrating a successful 25 years at London Heathrow. Over 20 million passengers have travelled between Heathrow and Dubai with Emirates since 1991 and almost 1.5 million people have travelled with Emirates through Heathrow Airport in the last year alone. Emirates now offers six daily flights from Heathrow to Dubai, all operated by the A380.
