Delta Air Lines have begun work on their new Premium Economy cabin which will be introduced on all the new A350 aircraft and rolled out on other selected international flights in autumn 2017. Delta A350s will feature 48 Delta Premium seats, as well as 32 Delta One suites and 226 Main Cabin seats. Delta Premium Economy will roll out on its Boeing 777 fleet in 2018.

Following a positive reception for the upgraded long haul aircraft SAS is making investments to implement upgrades across its entire short and medium haul fleet.

American Airlines is continuing to elevate the customer experience by adding complimentary premium movies, TV shows, music and games in the main cabin of its aircraft on domestic US flights. Beginning this month, customers will have unrestricted access to the best and largest content library among the U.S. carriers from the seatback entertainment systems or via Wi-Fi streaming using their own tablets, mobile phones or other mobile devices.

Emirates A380 to Manchester

Emirates have announced an 11% capacity increase to Manchester with the deployment of a third daily A380 on the route. As of 1st January 2017, the replacement of the Boeing 777-300ER will mean that all Emirates flights to Manchester will be operated by the iconic double decker aircraft.

Thanks to the new aircraft deployment, Emirates will offer 2,198 additional weekly seats on the route, enabling further business and leisure travel between Dubai and Manchester.

From 26th May 2017 Delta Air Lines will double their Scottish network with a new seasonal route between Glasgow and New York JFK. The flight is a new addition to the Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic partnership and adds to the existing Virgin Atlantic seasonal service from Glasgow to Orlando. The service will operate daily throughout the summer, and passengers travelling onwards from New York JFK can choose from over 60 daily onward connections throughout America.
