Edinburgh Airport is pleased to announce that Finnair capacity will increase for the summer 2017 season due to high demand. Edinburgh flights will operate to Helsinki served by up to five weekly flights operated by a 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft in a dual business and economy class configuration.

Finnair Economy Class tickets include one piece of 23kg baggage, a complimentary beverage and a choice of meals from the Sky Bistro selection. Business Class provides priority check-in and boarding, lounge access at Helsinki Airport and, on-board delicious high-quality meals accompanied with carefully selected beverages.

The announcement builds on the airlines’ successful launch of the route in April 2016. The service not only provides access to Helsinki but also strengthens Scotland's links to key global destinations in Russia, China, Japan and Finland itself. Connecting times at the efficient and uncongested Helsinki Airport can be as short as 35 minutes.
