Conference and team building idea
Paris is easy to get to from most UK airports and now has great rail services from St Pancras - here's a great little incentive/conference suggestion based on an actual project we undertook for a client fairly recently....
Day 1
Eurostar from St Pancras to Gare du Nord
Transfer to Radisson SAS Boulougne
Delegates check into rooms before having a full afternoon conference session
Pre-dinner drinks on the terrace, followed by a private dinner in hotel restaurant
Day 2
Team treasure hunt around the main Paris landmarks - teams are tasked with certain challenges and activities en route, and use the Metro system to get around the city. Team leaders have Metro tickets, "pocket money", camera and briefing notes with cryptic clues and details of the team's challenges for the day.
At the end of the afternoon, teams return to base and hand in team sheets and photo SD cards for inclusion in evening presentation.
Transfer to private Chateau in Paris for champagne reception and gala dinner. Live bands, DJ and entertainment can be added, subject to budget. Team presentations and prize giving for winning teams and "outstanding individuals".
After dinner, transfer to Paris' leading Latin salsa club in the Bastille, to dance away the night.
Day 3
Leisurely breakfast and morning free for shopping and sightsteeing.
Lunchtime check out of hotel, transfer back to Gare du Nord.
Arrival back in St Pancras late afternoon.
