SAS Scandinavian Airlines flights are currently being affected by a strike by Swedish pilots, there will be continued cancellations and delays to, from and within Sweden Monday 13th June and Tuesday 14th June. Flights, operated with Danish and Norwegian pilots, as well as with partner airlines, are operating as normal.
French industrial action, including Air Traffic Controllers, is taking place from Monday 13th June, 16:00 GMT to Wednesday 15 June, 04:00 GMT.

EasyJet will launch a new summer route to the Greek island of Zakynthos from Stansted on 28th May. The service will operate weekly throughout the summer and will carry up to 5400 passengers on the popular route in 2016. It will be EasyJet's 25th route from Stansted, where it has seven aircraft.

EasyJet have announced two new routes for Summer 2016 from Manchester Airport, providing passengers with yet more choice for easy and affordable summer destinations. Two more aircraft will be based at Manchester as EasyJet continue to expand routes.
EasyJet will launch a new route to Tivat in Montenegro with twice weekly flights from the 27th March 2016, the only service to the destination by a UK airline outside of London. Tivat is the gateway to the Mediterranean port of Kotor, a UNESCO World heritage site and home to Porto Montenegro.

All airlines are waiting for the British Government to announce when it will be safe for flights to Sharm el-Sheikh to operate. Regular passenger services from the UK have been suspended since the 5th November when it was discovered terrorists had smuggled a bomb onto a Russian holiday flight from the resort, causing it to crash.
EasyJet and Monarch have suspended flights until the 6th January in the expectation the Government will give them the go ahead to relaunch services shortly.

EasyJet has launched three new routes from Manchester Airport next summer to Paris, Milan Malpensa and Olbia in Sardinia. EasyJet’s expansion at Manchester Airport for summer 2016 will provide greater access to these hugely popular destinations with nine flights a week to Paris, up to seven flights a week to Milan Malpensa and twice a week to Olbia. The additional services will give EasyJet 43 destinations from Manchester, where it will have a total of 11 aircraft.

Thomson Airways, Thomas Cook, Monarch, easyJet and British Airways have all suspended flights to and from Sharm el-Sheikh after the government changed its travel advice to the Red Sea resort. The abrupt halting of flights, leaving an estimated 9,000 British tourists stranded in the Egyptian destination follows the disclosure that a bomb was the likely cause of a Russian Airbus crashing shortly after take-off from Sharm el-Sheikh airport on Saturday with the loss of 224 lives.

Planned strikes at five Spanish Airports are predicted to cause significant delays for travellers this month. The threatened walkouts are planned for the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September in the peak morning and evening periods from 04.30 to 07.30 and 19.30 to 21.30. The action is expected to affect airports at Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga and Majorca. The action will be taken by Menzies Aviation Iberica, who operates passenger and cargo handling, ramps and baggage, due to a breakdown of on-going negotiations to try and resolve an industrial dispute.
