Norwegian has announced that new low-cost transatlantic flights from Ireland to the US East Coast will include use of the U.S Preclearance facilities at Dublin and Shannon airports for passengers.
In July, Norwegian will begin a series of affordable transatlantic routes from Ireland to airports on the US east coast offering access into New York, Boston and New England.
From Dublin and Shannon, Norwegian offers flights to Stewart International Airport in New York State, along with Providence Airport which offers a gateway into Boston and New England.

Iberia has become the first airline to offer a Premium Economy seating class between Business and Economy on direct flights between Spain and Latin American destinations. Premium Economy will be rolled out across all 37 long-haul aircraft for completion in early 2018. Eight Airbus A330-300s will have 21 Premium Economy seats, and 13 Airbus A340-600s will have 23. The new Premium Economy seats are available for flights in May to and from Chicago and New York, in August to Miami and in September to Boston.

The extended codeshare agreement offers significantly enhanced connectivity from London Heathrow onwards to nine US destinations operated by Virgin Atlantic; Atlanta, Boston, Newark, Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and, from the 1st May 2017 Seattle.

As part of its winter timetable TAP Air Portugal will increase the number of weekly flights from London Gatwick to Lisbon and Porto from the 30th October 2016.
Two additional flights to Porto will provide a total of 14 weekly flights and five additional flights to Lisbon will provide a total of 12 weekly flights.
The increases bring TAP’s winter schedule to a total of 71 direct weekly flights to Portugal from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

Aer Lingus' long-haul expansion continues with the introduction of the daily Dublin to Newark service beginning on the 1st September, plus a four-times weekly service to Hartford, Connecticut will commence on the 28th September.
Transatlantic connections to the 28 daily Aer Lingus flights across the Atlantic this summer are available from 19 UK airports including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. UK passengers can take advantage of Customs and Immigration pre-clearance at Dublin Airport facilitating a faster arrivals procedure in the US.

Norwegian Air is expanding it's UK services for summer 2016 on brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft offering passengers free Wi-Fi.
From the 30th April, two weekly flights will depart from Manchester to Barcelona offering nearly 20,000 seats for the summer season. From the 2nd June, four weekly flights will depart Manchester to Malaga and two weekly flights to Alicante will begin from the 3rd June.
New flights from Edinburgh to Barcelona take off from the 15th June with 15,000 seats available this summer.
