Etihad Airways have joined forces with Avianca Brasil, the São Paulo based Brazilian airline, to strengthen its presence in South America and offer passengers a gateway to up to eight new South America destinations. Avianca Brasil's passengers will benefit from an excellent range of connections to Etihad Airways destinations in Africa, Asia and Oceania, through its main hub in Abu Dhabi. Passengers flying to São Paulo from Abu Dhabi will gain connections to eight other Brazilian destinations using Avianca Brasil, including Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador and Maceió, with the convenience of a single combined ticket.
