Aer Lingus have announced their most extensive ever winter schedule across their UK, European and trans-Atlantic network with an extra 300,000 seats. The Aer Lingus network highlights include:

  • 194,000 additional seats to Europe
  • 50,000 additional seats to Birmingham
  • An additional peak morning flight from Dublin to London
  • 12 flights per week to the West Coast; Los Angeles and San Francisco
  • A new Dublin to Miami service operating three times a week from 1st September
  • A new short-haul winter route from Dublin to Bilbao flying three times a week
  • 350 additional transatlantic flights with a 13% capacity increase for winter 2017
  • Capacity increased to Hamburg and Zurich with 10 flights operating to each per week
  • The Dublin to Washington service will become daily during peak months, a 44% capacity rise
  • The Dublin to Toronto service will see a 96% increase in capacity with four flights per week operated on a new Airbus A330
  • Further expansion on existing flights to Boston, Chicago, New York, Orlando, Washington, Newark and Hartford via Dublin and Boston and New York via Shannon
